What to Expect on the Fresno County Wine Journey
The next Fresno County Wine Journey is happening October 2026. With a wristband, spend two days visiting any (or all) of our participating locations and receive tastings at each stop. Tastings include a minimum of three samples. Participating wineries also will be celebrating with live music, local vendors and delicious food for purchase.
The Fresno County Wine Journey is B.Y.O.G. (Bring your own glass.) That means you're welcome (and invited) to bring your most festive and fun wine tasting glass. If you forget or don't want to B.Y.O.G.? No worries! Most of our tasting rooms have glasses for sale.
Here are some things to keep in mind during your wine, beer and spirit tasting weekend.

The Fresno County Wine Journey Passport and our twice-yearly tasting events are separate experiences.

An event wristband provides admission and tastings during the designated two-day event weekend only.
- All tasting participants must be age 21 or over
- Always have a designated driver or a professional transportation service.
- Only those tasting need a wristband.
- Wristbands are good for the entire weekend - so bring your glass, grab your friends and begin tasting at any location along our Fresno County Wine Journey map. You can explore the journey in any order during both days.
- The Vintners and Distillers of Fresno County take the consumption of alcohol and its control in the sale of such very seriously. This as mandated by Federal and State Local Laws. A person or persons who appear to show signs of intoxication while on premise will be refused additional service at our wineries, bewares and distillery. Guests who arrive at at any of our member locations who appear to be or are intoxicated will be refused service and barred entry to our facility.

FRESNO COUNTY WINE JOURNEY FAQ
What is the Fresno County Wine Journey event?
The Fresno County Wine Journey event is a special two-day tasting weekend held twice each year. Guests purchase an event wristband to receive tastings at participating locations during that specific weekend.
What is the Fresno County Wine Journey Passport?
The Passport is a separate, year-round experience featuring offers and experiences at participating locations. It costs $75, provides access to more than $600 in experiences, and is valid for one year from the date of purchase.
Does an event wristband include a Passport?
No. Purchasing an event wristband does not include a Fresno County Wine Journey Passport.
Can I use my Passport instead of an event wristband?
No. A valid event wristband is required to receive event tastings during the designated event weekend. A Passport cannot be substituted for an event wristband.
How long is an event wristband valid?
An event wristband is valid only for the dates of the designated two-day event weekend. It cannot be used at future events.
Where can I purchase an event wristband?
Use the event page to purchase a wristband for an upcoming Fresno County Wine Journey tasting weekend. Event wristbands are different from Passports, so be sure you select the event you want to attend.
